How to Apply Ekasih?

There are many ways to apply for the schemes in the eKashi. The candidates who have once registered for the eKashi will be allocated a unique ID and will be eligible to apply for any new schemes that will be initiated by the authorities.

  • The scanned copy of the household head.
  • The income certificate of the individual and the head of the family.
  • The confirmation slip of the income.
  • The electricity and water bill of the household.

The citizens can also apply for the form through the online portal. The application is available on the “MyGov” portal. The form should be downloaded in PDF format. The details should be filled out in the application manually, and the scanned copies of the documents and the application unattached together should be mailed or posted to the District Office of the Development Unit. The application should have the signature of the ministers in the Development unit for the further process. The applications with no signature will be rejected or delayed.

Another way to register for the eKashi is through the online form available on the Poverty Eradication Portal. After applying for the registration., the candidates should wait for the response from the District Unit. If they Are eligible to receive the benefits under the eKashi they will receive the notice for the further process. The notice of eligibility will be sent by post or mail to their registered residents.

The fund allocated for the eKahi was RM1.45 billion. Each individual registered for the eKAshi will receive the amount of RM600 as per the basic program. Additional support of RM5,000 to RM10,000 will be issued to the citizens based on their circumstances. The amount is issued to increase their standard of living, and this will help to grow the country’s economy.
