The goal of the Salam National Protection Scheme is to provide individuals in the B40 group, who are between the ages of 18 and 65, with free health takaful coverage. The government plans to extend the MySalam program until 2025 in response to the positive feedback received from Malaysia’s B40 population. You can make a claim at any time because the scheme’s registration line is open all year round.

Who is Eligible?

The public can visit the www.mysalam.com.my website to see if they qualify for the MySalam insurance program for the poorest 40 percent (B40) income category. Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) financial aid beneficiaries who satisfy the following standards are among those who qualify for the mySalam Scheme:

  • Individuals who fall into one of the following categories: those who are between the ages of 18 and 65;
  • single people between the ages of 40 and 65 who make less than RM24,000 annually; and people with disabilities who get less than RM24,000 annually.
