The Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia (BKM) initiative was announced by the Malaysian government in 2022. (BKM) program provides direct financial assistance to older persons, single parents, and families with three or more children.

BKM Amount

He stated, “Senior citizens who are single or without a spouse will continue to receive BKM of RM600 and RM350, respectively, depending on their income level.” According to Tengku Zafrul, the extra RM500 in help for single parents with dependents will be available starting in 2023.
