Superannuation Rates 2024
Every year, the federal revenue agency sets out the Superannuation Payment rates at the staring of a fiscal year. These are the federal rates that are continuing and valid from Apr 1 to Mar 31 of next year. Currently, the beneficiaries will be offered the same rates until Mar 31, 2024, which includes the amount.
The single person living alone or with a dependent child will continue to deliver their weekly amount of $578.67. The monthly amount is $1,157.34, and the annual amount is $30,090.84. All these will be provided as gross/ before tax payment, and the annual amount after tax with a total income of $48,000 P.A. will be offered $496.37 per week.
The single individual living with someone who is not their partner will get a weekly amount of $532.43, a fortnightly amount of $1,064.86, and an annual amount of $27,686.36. The couple meeting the eligibility criteria of Superannuation Payments will receive $439.79 as the weekly amount, $87.58 as the fortnightly amount, and $22,869.08 as the annual amount. The couple in which one of them meets the eligibility criteria will get $439.79 per week, $879.58 fortnightly, and $22,869.08 annually.
Superannuation Payments Increase 2024
The new federal rates will be announced at the start of the new fiscal year. The payment increase will depend on the rising inflation and cost of living expenses for seniors. Currently, the superannuation recipient is granted the federal rates that they received in their previous year.
In 2024, the Superannuation Payments will be increased and deliver higher rates of benefits than the previous payment. All the eligible beneficiaries will get their new increased benefits payment from 1 Apr 2024. These are the lifetime help and care income parts for the eligible retirement plan.

Due Dates
The due dates fall on weekends or public holidays; the fund must receive your contribution before starting the new business day.
The Due date payments are made quarterly with assistance and are delivered as follows;
- The period of 1 July to 30 Sep will have their payment on 28 Oct.
- The period of 1 Oct to 31 Dec will have their payment on 28 Jan.
- The period of 1 Jan to 31 Mar will have their payment on 28 Apr.
- The period of 1 Apr to 30 Jun will have their payment on 28 Jul.
During this time period, the eligible recipient will receive their due Superannuation Payments.
Payment Dates
The beneficiaries receive their federal benefits payment as fortnightly payments, and in the month of Feb 2024, the eligible recipient will be provided their financial assistance on 13th Feb and 27th Feb.
In the month of March 2024, the beneficiaries will granted their federal financial assistance on 12th March and 26th March 2024. The regular fortnightly payments resume on Tuesday.
Contribution
For the Superannuation Payments, the employer has to contribute 15% of their base salary to the superannuation fund. These are aside money for your retirement, and the employer has to pay a contribution on the nominated super account’s behalf.
