SASSA SRD Status Check 2024
The status-checking option allows the beneficiaries to learn about their SRD payment status. It helps them determine whether they have received the grant or not. There are several ways through which citizens can check their SASSA status easily. These ways include – through the authorized website of SASSA, through SMS/Toll-Free Numbers, or through the mobile application.
However, the beneficiaries must enter their registered mobile number and IDs at the time of checking the status. If the ID or Phone number doesn’t match with the registered credentials, the R350 status will not appear.
To check the SASSA Status from the website, follow these steps –
- Go to the authorized website of the SASSA.
- Click on the Status option and enter the registered ID and Phone Numbers.
- An OTP will be sent to the registered phone number.
- Enter the OTP to validate the session and submit it.
- The SASSA Status will be generated.
The SRD status can be one of the following – Approved, Pending, or Declined. Approved means that the grant for a particular month has been approved by the SASSA.
Pending means that the authorities are still verifying details or they are processing the applications. In this case, the beneficiaries must wait for a little longer for the processing to be completed. Declined means that the grant for a particular month has been declined. This can happen due to various reasons.
SASSA Payment Dates October 2024
SASSA administers various beneficial grants for South African Citizens. These include SRD, Old Age, Disability, Child Support, War Veterans, etc. Recently, the SASSA announced the new payment dates for the month of October.

Firstly, the Older person’s grants will be issued on October 3. After this, the SASSA will issue disability grants on October 4. Finally, the Children’s grants will be missed on October 5. The beneficiaries can receive the grants in a number of ways, such as bank transfers, post office, pick-n-pay, etc.
In addition, starting from October 1, there has been an increase in the amounts for several Grants issued by the SASSA. The Old Age (below 75) grant has been increased to 2090, whereas the Old Age (above 75) grant has been increased to 2110. In addition, Disability, War Veterans, Care Dependency, Foster Child, Grant in Aid, and Child Support are also increased.

SASSA SRD Bank Details 2024

I have started to apply for this SRG Grant eversince the beginning of Covid 19 and have never received any R350 eversince the very beginning. Now i have re applied again for the first time after all those years and finally my application has been accepted and approved for the month of October 2023, but the month of September 2023 is still pending and i still haven’t received any payment or payments, no dates or any sort of sms.
